Our desire is to be working adults that will love God, love people, and loving life! [120 people attended the Christmas Function] The NG Jazz Christmas Function was held on 9th Dec 2006 at a restaurant called Berkley on Ann, located in the heart of the Brisbane City. This is a function proudly organised by NG (New Generation) annually to celebrate the birth of Christ and to share the truth of the Christmas to our working colleagues. [The Jazz Band from Hope Brisbane] It was indeed a successful night. The night event attracted 120 NG members and our working colleagues; sadly, we had to turn away many more people who had wanted to come.The night started with some live Jazz music. "The Gift" was the theme of the night. We hoped that through this Christmas function, our visitors will begin to appreciate the true meaning of Christmas. This theme was clearly portrayed in one of our multimedia presentations. [The sisters having a great time] Another multimedia presentation shown reflected on 2006. It illustrated what NG as a group had achieved, and who we are as a group. This bought back a lot of fond memories amongst the members; it also continued to encourage NG to look forward to another exciting year in 2007. [The Carol team singing at the Christmas function] The carollers were fantastic. The carols that they sang brought a real atmosphere of Christmas to the place. NG Christmas function has been a place where the truth and love of Christ has been shared. A heartfelt appreciation has to be given to the organising committee that worked very hard to put the event together, and the singers and the carollers. Not forgetting those who worked hard at the background. The best gift for the Christmas is the Christ, our saviour.
