[Bible Conference, Hope Brisbane] FAITH UNLEASHED 2007 The theme for Hope Brisbane in 2007 is “Faith Unleashed”. We believe God to help us grow in greater faith for personal life, ministry, church and missions. At Tuesday night church prayer meeting, Pastor Wilson encouraged members to pray in faith for breakthroughs in 2007. After a time of prayer and prophecy, Pastor Wilson invited Peter Truong to share about the healing testimonies in Malaysia. Then, Pastor Wilson, Pastor Lai Ling, Pastor Wenan & leaders began to pray for healing.

[Ps Wilson, Ps Lai Ling Lim and Peter Truong] HEALING TESTIMONIES AT PRAYER MEETING God healed Daniel Lim’s foot pain  Daniel, who is 8 years old, came to the prayer meeting with a sore right foot for 2 days. At the prayer meeting, Pastor Lai Ling prayed for the Lord to remove the pain from her son’s foot whilst others were being prayed for. Daniel informed his mum that God healed his foot a couple of minutes later. Daniel asked his mum to testify of his healing to the whole church because he was a bit shy. God strengthened Lead Tao’s back  In 2001, I had a water skiing incident. As a result, my left hip was slightly twisted. This led to back pain which in 2004 began to get quite serious. When the pain was really severe, I could not even walk/stand for more than 20min before needing to sit down. Sometimes, I would need to take pain killers. Last corporate prayer meeting I was prayed for. Immediately after prayer, I decided to test it out and went for a run. Praise the Lord, He strengthened my back such that I could run for 2km during the prayer meeting, something I have not done for more than 1 year. Although the back is only 80% healed, I believe that God will bring 100% healing soon and very soon. Praise God. God healed Chia Yen stomach’s pain 
I had persistent stomach pain for the past 3 days. It comes in a sharp constricting pain in the stomach area and usually lasts for a couple of minutes. These pains occurred every couple of minutes. I could not get to sleep at night because I would often wake up due to the pain. I saw a medical doctor 2 days ago and it was similar to one of pharmacy friend’s diagnosis, the pain’s possibly stomach spasms in which the cause of pain is hard to detect. The doctor suggested I should just bear with the pain for a couple of days and investigate it further should it persist. A medication was also suggested to ease the pain. The pain however, persisted on despite the medication and also developed into diarrhea yesterday. I couldn’t eat properly since the pain started and could never finish a meal without feeling the sharp pain and feeling nauseous. I went for corporate prayer last night and felt very weak after praising God and I started to really ask God for His strength and healing. As I was hearing Peter’s testimony of how God healed so many people at healing meetings in Malaysia, I felt challenged even more to believe God for His healing and was determined not to allow doubts to enter in. I responded for prayer to believe in the healing and as I started to pray for others I felt the pain gradually subsiding. The stomach was still feeling bloated after Pastor Wilson prayed for me, the stomach still felt a little sore. I continued to believe God for complete healing and by the end of the prayer, the pain was gone and the bloated feeling was gradually lifted away till the point of hunger and having the appetite for food again. God’s healed Peggy Chan’s dizziness  Last Tuesday at prayer meeting, I wasn’t feeling well. My whole body was exhausted. I was dizzy, dehydrated and had a stomach ache as well. I was so encouraged by the healing testimonies by Peter Truong in Malaysia. When the leaders asked all the sick people to come out for prayer, I was so shy and thought my problem was insignificant compared to those who had serious illnesses. After deciding to take that step of faith and praise God, I did feel a lot better after prayer. God spoke to me that He is a God of healing while others were praying for me. It does not matter how big or small our illness, God is able to heal if we have faith in Him. |
