TUESDAY PRAYER HEALING TESTIMONIES
GOD HEALED MY SORE THROAT - PS LAI LING LIM I came down with a cold and bad sore throat on Labour Day. I was still having a very sore throat when I arrived for prayer meeting. I continued to trust God to heal me of my sore throat and grant me the voice to speak (I lost my voice that day) as I would also be involved in praying for others that night. I promised God that even if I was to whisper, I shall not cease believing Him for healing miracles in people's lives. I responded to prayer for healing. Peter prayed for me. The Lord's anointing fell upon me. My sore throat has since been healed! Praise God! Not only that, the Lord granted me the voice to prayer for others on that night. He is still in the process of restoring me my normal voice today. All in all, I still praise God for His healing touch upon my life and many others!
THE SWELLING IN THE ANKLE DISAPPEARED - DANIEL EVAN
Two years ago I incurred quite a severe sporting injury that damaged my ankle and left me very susceptible to further injury. This injury worsened two months ago when I rolled my ankle, leaving my foot noticeably swollen and causing considerable pain whenever I stretch or rotate my ankle. During our Healing Prayer Meeting, I felt the Holy Spirit urging me to go forward for prayer. As the leaders prayed over me, I felt God’s presence fall on me so powerfully, and the pain slowly dissipated until I no longer felt any pain in my ankle. God further confirmed His miraculous works when I returned home and realised the swelling had also disappeared. Praise God for revealing his grace and love through me and giving me a tangible testimony that I can now use to share Christ to my friends and family who are yet to know Him.
A NEW BELIEVER ENCOUNTER WITH GOD - BRETT O'DONNELL 
Hi, my name is Brett O'Donnell and I have been coming to Hope now for 6 months since accepting Christ into my life. Since then, some wonderful things have been happening in my life. One example is what happened last Tuesday at our prayer meeting held at the Princess Theatre. That morning, I had to move my broken down car into my yard by myself at around 5.30am in the morning before I went to work. Now my house has a large concrete fence and as I pushed the car into the yard, I was jammed between the concrete fence and the car twisting my shoulder and putting me in a lot of pain throughout the day. As I had to go to work I didn't have a chance for anyone to look at my shoulder and just put up with the pain. That night I went to pray for my uncle as he has cancer, with my shoulder still hurting. I found it hard to concentrate after I had prayed for my uncle. So with the assistance of others around me they helped me keep on praying. After that, we all joined hands and then I asked for the pain in my shoulder to leave me so I can concentrate on praying for my uncle’s health. I felt a tingling throughout my shoulder and the pain that had plagued me all day was gone. Praise God for his compassion and healing and I hope we can all feel God’s love and amazing strength through our lives
MY NECK FELT BETTER - KAREN SIM
I have experienced God’s healing power at the healing prayer meeting last Tuesday. I have had neck & back pain for a few weeks. I had not been able to sleep well and usually ended up feeling very tired at work.
During the healing prayer, I was kneeling at the back of the room praying for healing for my family members when I felt the touch from God. There was a cool wind blowing on my neck continuously. I stood up and moved to a different position but I continued to feel this cool wind blowing on my neck. That experience is rather unusual and I knew God is doing something to my neck. A brother who was praying beside me confidently told me that God has healed me, though he did not know what sickness I had. God used another person to assure me that He has healed my neck discomfort.
Amazingly, throughout that experience, my neck felt better and the discomfort was slowly going away. I had a good sleep that night and woke up in the morning feeling very refreshed. Praise God for He understands us and takes care of our needs.
GOD REMOVED THE PIECE OF BONE: JABEZ LOH 
Recently, I discovered that I have a protruding piece of bone coming out of my gum. It has been causing me pain ever since. On Sunday, I accidentally broke a part of the bone and with the remainder still stuck in my gum. The pain and discomfort was getting worst. On Tuesday, at Corporate Prayer night, as I was praying for others for healing, I suddenly felt something pop out. There was this small piece of something hard in my mouth. At first, I thought it was something that was stuck in my tooth that came out. When I went home, I realised the broken piece of bone had actually pop out suddenly. I had been trying to remove it but it refuse to budge since last Sunday. I really thank God for removing the piece of bone out of my gum.
NO ECZEMA ATTACK FOR 3 WEEKS: JESSIE YAP 
I have been having mild eczema attacks (skin irritation that causes inflammatory condition of the skin followed by itching and redness) for 2 years. It causes my skin to be red and scaly throughout autumn and winter. The attacks always come at night and I feel discomfort all over my body. Recently, it has gotten worse and I feel the itchiness throughout the day. This has bought much inconvenience to me, as I always have to apply lotion to my body to stop the itch.
Three weeks ago, I attended the Corporate Prayer Meeting held at Woolloongabba. It was a Healing Prayer meeting. I decided to pray for God's healing to be upon my skin condition.Amazingly, for the whole week, the itching has lessened considerably I only felt the itch at one spot a day. I started to wonder 'This must really be God working in my life, this really must be God's healing'. From then on, I began to proclaim God's healing with faith. And true enough, God has been working as I began to have more faith in His healing power. I haven’t had eczema attacks until today and I truly believe that God will completely heal me from this condition.
I FELT A HEAT STARTED TO GROW ON MY BACK: EDDIE
Last Tuesday, I went with my shepherd to attend the corporate prayer meeting. It was my first time attending a healing prayer meeting. Before we started praying, we listened to testimonies about supernatural healing of different people from the leaders and in a video, which really encouraged the church to strengthen our faith and remove doubts from our hearts. I believe when we put God first, we will see God's miracles and blessings in the lives of the people.
I have suffered back pain since I was 17 years old. I used to participate in a lot of sports and exercised regularly, but unfortunately, during one of my exercises, I fell and hurt my back badly. Since then, I’ve experienced constant back pain. Doctors told me that I cannot do vigorous exercise anymore, because one of the bones on my spine had moved. Also, when I sleep, I need to maintain a very uncomfortable posture. As a result, it was very hard for me to sleep for a long period of time. Therefore, when the chairperson called people to receive prayers for healing, I went to the front with my shepherd, because I wanted to believe that God can heal my back pain. My shepherd and another leader lay their hands on me and prayed for me. As they were praying, I felt a heat started to grow on my back, and the pain was slowly being removed. Since then, I have not felt the pain anymore!
I really want to thank God for giving me this opportunity to experience his supernatural healing, and I thank Him for using me to share this to you. To me it is not just about healing, but it is also about how God touched my heart with His love. Through this encounter with God, I have started to have the compassion to love and help those who are seeking help from God. I want to encourage you to trust in Jesus without doubting, because He is the One who set us free. I really want to see many people receiving blessings from God too!
GOD DID A MIRACLE: JIMMIE NATTHAWUT THONGKUL 
I've always longed to experience a tangible touch from God in the area of healing and praise God, I experienced it. I had been having a sore throat, cold and headache for 3 days. I did not feel comfortable when I talked or ate. Although, my sickness was not very serious, I just wanted to experience God's healing so I had hope that God would heal me at the corporate prayer meeting as the theme of prayer is healing. But, on my way to prayer meeting, my faith began to drop because I thought that God may not heal me because my sickness is not serious and after doubt came in, I thought "that's it, God will not heal me anymore".
However, when I stepped into prayer meeting, people were singing and praising God. Suddenly, my faith begun to rise again and so did my hope that God would heal me tonight! So I repented my attitude to God and I expected God to perform a miracle in me. I told God that I just don't want to be healed and I know that my sickness is not serious but what I want is to experience You. So, when they asked for people who are sick to come to the front, I just went in faith. Pastor Wen'an prayed for me but nothing happened. Yet I still had hope that God would do something. After that, I received the second prayer and I realised that I had to lead praise and worship in my fellowship group the coming Friday. I told God that I needed to have a beautiful voice to sing unto God. I wanted to be healed so that I can serve you more effectively plus after the prayer meeting, my team and I will have worship practise so I really needed to have a voice to sing. This time God did a miracle. He healed me. I felt warm like someone was hugging me. Before, I couldn't breathe properly, but now I started to breathe normally and I could smell sweat from my body. My headache also had gone. I felt light and refreshed. Moreover, at praise and worship practise on that night, I could really sing to God. I can testify that God really healed me on that night.
I'm grateful to God that although it was just a small sickness but God did not neglect it. For me, the healing is a great gift from God. It is all come down to God's love for His children. Truly. He is just a prayer away. Blessed be His name. |
