Hope of Wiang Pa Pao Church

The Hope of Wiang Pa Pao church was established about 18 years ago. The current leader is Pastor Lawan. She received Jesus in this church about 11 years ago; 4 years later, she went out and planted another church in a village in the southern part of the Wiang Pa Pao district, called Mea Kachan. Pastor Lawan began the Hope of Mea Kachan church with a team of 5 children. After several years, the church in Mea Kachan grew and one of the believers there, named Pastor Kingam, became the leader of Hope of Mea Kachan Church. Pastor Lawan then returned to the Hope of Wiang Pa Pao church and resumed her pastoral duties there.
Pastor Lawan and Pastor Kingam have worked together to start churches in other villages in the Wiang Pa Pao district, as well as starting a church in a nearby district. Now there are 5 other churches under the care of Pastor Lawan and the Hope of Wiang Pa Pao church.
God is also using Pastor Lawan as the leader of a growing zone, which covers 11 districts and 19 churches. She continues to train and equip new leaders and plant churches throughout this zone, assisted by Pastor Kingam and the leadership team in Wiang Pa Pao.
HEALING MEETING

At the healing service at Hope of Wiang Pa Pao on Thursday night, December 6th, God healed many people from various illnesses and disabilities, including poor eyesight and colour blindness. Three people who could not walk were able to walk, and 10 people received Jesus for the first time. Here are some testimonies:
TESTIMONY OF HEALINGS
God healed Mrs Moon legs...
Mrs. Moon received Jesus over a year ago. Before accepting Jesus, she had been unable to walk because of gout for two months. However, after receiving Jesus and receiving prayer from team members in the Hope of Mea Kachan church, she was able to walk by a miracle of God. However, about six months ago, she gave in to family pressure and gave an offering to the spirits causing her gout problem to flare up again. On Thursday night she came to the healing meeting to seek God’s forgiveness and healing. She had been unable to walk for three months before the prayer meeting. Her foot and knee joints were swollen and filled with fluid meaning that she could not even lift her leg or put her foot down without severe pain. The church members had to bring her to the front of the church in a cart, and carry Mrs Moon, who was in extreme pain, into the church. Mrs. Moon repented and after receiving prayer for healing, she was able to lift her leg, put her foot down without pain, and walk on her own, for the first time in three months. Praise God!
Mrs Jansom was healed of partial paralysis...
Mrs. Jansom was formerly a spirit medium. One day she wanted to be free of the spirits, so she burned her spirit altar. As a result, she became partially paralysed, on her left side. To appease the spirits, she got a new spirit altar and began worshipping the spirits again, but her condition only improved slightly: she still was unable to walk normally. Mrs Jansom heard about Jesus’ love when a friend brought her to church. When she saw that Jesus has power over the spirits and saw Pastor Kingam burn her new spirit altar without becoming sick, she believed and gave her life to Jesus. On Thursday night, she came to the healing meeting, still unable to walk normally. She had now been partially paralysed for 2 years, unable to freely move her left arm and leg. After receiving prayer, she was healed and began walking rapidly around the church without needing assistance or a walking stick, and praising God.
Mrs Noi (centre) was able to walk freely after prayer...
Mrs. Noi had been paralysed on her left side since she suffered a stroke over 10 years ago. At that time she could not walk at all. Nine years ago a friend brought her to church at Wiang Pa Pao. She received Jesus and the leaders prayed for her. After that she got better and was able to walk, but only very slowly and needing a walking stick for support. She could not lift her left leg and foot. On Thursday night she came to the healing meetings and God touched her as all the leaders prayed for her. She was able to walk quickly, without a walking stick, and was able to lift up her foot as well! Praise God!
