HEALING RALLY IN QUEZON CITY VIDEO

“Faith rests on God, receives from God, responds to God, relies on God, realises God, rejoices in God, and reproduces His life and character.” “Faith is to believe what we do not see. The reward of faith is to see what we believe.”

A lot of people from M.Y. Homes Subdivision in Marvex, Quezon City were in great need of God’s healing. They heard news that Christians from Hope of God Church, Manila, led by Pastor Soradej and Bro. Peter Truong from Hope Australia were coming for a healing crusade on January 30, 2008.

With a desperate love for God and for her neighbours and friends, Mommy Jane Tan, a leader of Energy Pro Care Group (Hope Manila), took the initiative and held the healing event in their community.

Our ever generous Mommy Jane opened her home as a care group venue since 2002. She organised with the other officers of the community to reserve the open court and have it used for free. Many Christians and even non-Christians have offered a helping hand to arrange everything. They painted the stage and cleaned the chairs and the whole court. They distributed 400 flyers to the whole community, full of hope and expectation that they will see and experience the amazing power of our Lord Jesus Christ.

On the eve of January 30, leaders from Hope Manila came early to set up the musical instruments and build an atmosphere of faith.

There were just a handful of people in the open court at 6:30 p.m. Mommy Jane assured us that they will be coming, just very late. So we continued to pray and invite people outside the court. Just as Mommy Jane said, people came one after the other. There were 57 adults and 8 children that night.

We began to praise and worship God and prayed in the Holy Spirit. Pastor Soradej shared to the crowd about his personal experience with God and how he was completely changed by God.

Pastor Soradej also imparted how he was used by God to extend healing to people in Thailand. Bro. Peter Truong followed to tell people of God’s love and compassion and how he personally experienced Jesus as well. After imparting these testimonies, Bro. Peter Truong made an invitation for people to accept Jesus as their personal Lord and Saviour. Eighteen humble people responded to Jesus. We praised God for them.

We challenged and inspired people to put their full and complete faith in God for healing. We started to ask people with eye problems to come to Jesus for vision healing. And this how God showed His awesome healing power!

HEALING RALLY TESTIMONIES

Healed of deafness and mute

A lady guided her best friend, Rowena Tatel, who is deaf and mute. Rowena is a sister of one of the Hope Manila members.

She has not been able to hear or speak a single word for so many years. The lady believed that Jesus will heal her best friend. All leaders prayed really hard, believing that Jesus will heal Rowena.

Afterwards, Bro. Peter Truong made sounds near her ear to test if she could hear anything. Bro. John asked her to sing or move a hand to tell us if she could hear the clicking of his finger. But Rowena made no movement at all. We could see people on chairs waiting with desperation for Rowena’s healing. So we prayed even harder this time for God to display His might and power. Praise God Rowena spoke after the second intense prayer.

She mumbled the word five in response to John asking her whether or not she could hear him. Then she was asked to say the Name of Jesus and she did! She repeatedly uttered the Name of Jesus! The Name above all names! This supernatural healing brought the Hope leaders into tears (See video).

Healed of eye vision

Jefferson Lee, 11 years old, had blurred vision for two years. He could not see from his left eye very well. But after expressing his faith and calling on to God, Jefferson was able to see clearly and read the song sheets on stage.

Tim Lagman, 10 years of age, had a weak nerve in his left eye causing blurry vision for four years. After praying to Jesus for healing, he can clearly read the letters on the song sheets as well.

An elderly woman who was 74 years of age, Rosa Lee, was healed her blurry vision which she had endured for three years. God also relieved Rosa Lee's back pain after a two year struggle (See photo).


The same healing power was experienced by Antonio Yaon who had been suffering from blurred vision.

Sally Yaon likewise was healed of her eye impairment which she had suffered for one year.


Before the healing, Antonia Alonzo suffered from cataracts. However, after placing her faith in Jesus, she could see better that night.

Healed of back, Leg & ankle pain

After Rowena’s healing, there was the call for people with back pain. A number of adults responded and were healed.

Jose Lee had back pain and he couldn’t bend his back at all for ten painful years. After God touched him, he was able to bend and touch the floor of the court.

Juliet Espanillo, a Hope Manila member who has been suffering from back pain for a year, experienced the healing touch of Jesus too.

Greg Mesina has been struggling with ankle pain for the past year. This is seen whenever he plays tennis: he feels pain after the match and is unable to drive. While the leaders were praying for him, he felt the warmth of the power of the Holy Spirit and he was healed. He praised God.

Zenaida Samson was healed of numbness in both legs and thanked God.

God touched Jet Lee in wheelchair



A father came forward with his daughter in a wheelchair. Jet Lee has been living with a condition that doctors called Jeffrey’s Syndrome.

Her upper and lower extremities are just skin and bone. Jet’s fingers were flexed inwardly and she could barely walk. If asked to walk, she would normally be able to make four to five small steps before giving up, forcing her father to hold Jet by the armpit to guide and help her. With great desire to witness the healing power of God, all the leaders pleaded to God. Amazingly, Jet was able to make more than ten big steps on the court. Jet said that she felt the heat inside her while people were calling upon God. She felt great that night.

Moreover, people with asthma and gastric problems were asked to exercise their faith. Four ladies testified that they felt better after the prayer. Thank God for more than half of the crowd coming forward to express their need for emotional healing.

We challenged them to continue praying and believing in Jesus. Pastor Soradej invited them to join the care group at Mommy Jane’s place every Thursday to deepen their relationship to God.

Truly, faith enables the believing soul to treat the future as the present and the invisible as seen.
