HOPE PJ MANDARIN CHURCH VIDEO

Sow Fong and Estee joined Hope Petaling Jaya (PJ) after they were transferred from Hope PJ’s English service. They joined the Hope movement in 1995 when God brought a friend from the USA to share about the vision of Hope before Estee returned to Malaysia. They are gifted Bible teachers. Both of them graduated with an MBA from the United States. Sow Fong works in a private equity firm and Estee is with a hotel development company. They have two boys: Ian (9yrs old) and Sean (7 yrs old).

Reaching Out, Touching Life

Sow Fong and Estee preach regularly at PJ Mandarin Church. With Hope Kuala Lumpur’s 2008 theme being "Reaching Out, Touching Life", Mandarin PJ is aiming to grow the church to over 100 people launching their 100Plus campaign recently. Sow Fong and Estee are also actively involved in teaching weekly parenting and marriage course in Hope PJ. They hope to expand the courses to other Hope centres in Kuala Lumpur.

Hope PJ Mandarin Church consists of Mandarin speaking students, working professionals and family groups.

Many families came to know Christ when God healed and touched the lives of their family and relatives. The regular Sunday attendance is around 70-90 people. The church has the vision to pioneer and support Mandarin speaking groups in small towns in Malaysia.

The power of His love

On Wednesday night, Hope PJ Mandarin Service had a healing service. Many members and visitors came to experience the power of God's love through divine healings.

The Holy Spirit was present as members worship God in Chinese songs. Many lives were impacted by the Holy Spirit as leaders and members cried out to Jesus.

HEALING STORIES

Healing from eye problems

1) This little girl was blind in her eye left eye. After prayer, she first could see shadows, and after more prayer, she could see that the shadow was a hand. After even more prayer, she could make out the image of a finger. Jeng Teng

2) When I looked at the poster at the wall for the first time, the words on the poster were very blurry. However, after prayer, I can see more clearly (30% improvement), and could see those words at the back of the hall better. June

Freedom from back problems/ joint pain/knee pain

1) I had a pain between my neck and shoulder, I had some painkillers before coming to the meeting but it didn’t relieve the pain. After praying, I felt no more pain. Aida

2) My neck was injured during an accident and since then, I’ve always been in pain for the past ten years. After prayer, I could feel the tightness of my neck easing; there was no more pain. Daniel Tan

5) My back pain probably came about from carrying the kids too often. The pain started with my fourth child. I sought advice from friends but they gave me different opinions and solutions. After prayer, when Peter asked us to do some stretches, I didn’t believe that I was healed, but I still did the stretching.
