Praise God, we just had a wonderful Freedom Month and we’ve been believing God for great things. You see our Freedom Month; the whole idea is to help people to be set free. Set free from sin, set free from their limitations, set free from different issues in their lives as they turn to trust in God.

So this month, our theme was about being set free from their limitations; we talk about helping them to go beyond their dreams and it’s been wonderful, people have been touched.



We’ve seen salvations, we’ve seen people being prayed for, and we’ve seen healing: emotionally, spiritually, and physically too.



We have some wonderful testimonies.

There was one young man who had a hip operation and he had a bit of his bone taken out and as a result, one leg was shorter than the other and he walked with a little bit of a gait.

When we prayed for him, God healed him and lengthened his leg so that both his legs are now equal length and he can walk properly now.

There was another young man who had a jaw problem for several months; he was in pain and he found it difficult to eat and he was losing weight.

But God touched him miraculously, he was healed and now he can eat properly without any pain at all. And so we’ve seen again and again, different people being healed: their back problems, their eye problems, different kinds of problems.

God is good, and God’s a miracle working God so I really thank God for all the blessings that we’ve seen. The church’s been really blessed and touched and we believe God that we’re going to continue to see the overflow from this time, that we’ll see more people led to Christ, more miracles from God. Amen.

God healed John's right groin pain

He fell off a horse when he was a child and tore a ligament in his right groin. Consequently, John could not lift his right leg properly. After prayer by Pastor Lance Wolter and the church on Sunday, he was totally healed by God. He now can lift his right leg without pain.

God lengthened John's left leg

In August 1998, I was diagnosed with Perthes disease, which because of a lack of blood cells entering my left leg area, caused my hip bone to actually deteriorate.


Consequently, every time I walked, I would be in great distress and pain, to the point where I was unable to walk properly on my own accord. To cut a long story short, the orthopedic surgeon gave me two options: not have surgery and face the prospect of not being able to walk again without pain; or have surgery which would involve cutting into my left hip bone and inserting a metal plate, effectively meaning I would have one leg shorter than the other for the rest of my life.

The decision was to have surgery and a month later, I had the operation. Since that day, my left leg has been shorter than my right by about an inch. It’s something that has caused great annoyance and frustrating in my life, but at the same time, was something that I had managed and on the whole, accepted as part of my life.

Fast forward to Friday [the 15th of August] when Peter Truong asked for those who wanted prayer for physical healing to come down to the altar. I’ve been in this situation before, but never really thought my situation warranted miraculous healing. However that night, I felt different and had the faith that nothing was impossible for God. So I went down, hoping for a nice, private and short prayer. However the first Peter Truong said after I explained my situation was “OK, let’s get all the leaders to pray for you”. Before I knew it, not only the leaders, but the whole church began to pray for me and I guess that’s when the miracle started to occur.

As I was being prayed for, I could honestly feel a sensation in my left leg. It wasn’t an immense feeling, but some sort of stretching sensation nonetheless. As I stood up, I was amazed to sense my left heel being able to touch ground, which hitherto was not possible.

Furthermore, over the week, I have been able to do things that others take for granted but that I struggle with like balancing when standing, crossing my legs and kneeling down. It’s difficult to quantify how much my leg has actually grown; it was more in millimetres rather than centimetres. However over time, I have the faith that God will be able to grow my leg so that it can be even again.

In saying all of this though, what I will remember most of the night won’t be the fact that my leg grew. What will be etched in my memory forever will be that rare and special encounter I had with God that night. When I was being prayed for, I could sense the peace and joy in my heart which only God can bring. God used the church to convey his acceptance, love and forgiveness over my life; something which I found to be exponentially more significant than the physical miracle. Praise God!

God healed Aaron's painful jaw

I’ve been having jaw pain for the last few years; it would usually come and go. However since roughly the beginning of this year, the pain wouldn’t go away.




Due to this pain, I have been unable to eat properly which consequently affected my health. The doctor said that the disc between my skull and jaw bone might have slipped out of place and because of this, my two bones were grinding together, limiting my jaw movement. I have visited many health professionals from dentists to physios and everything in between. They all said a lot of different things but there wasn’t much they could really do apart from recommending jaw exercises. If all else fails, the doctors said that I could have an operation to physically push my disc into place.

On the 15th of August, 2008 at Ablaze Service, Peter Truong came to preach and to pray for healing. As I was getting prayed for, Torchie [Ablaze’s youth pastor] held my jaw. I felt my jaw feeling looser after he finished praying; my jaw was able to move. There was hardly any pain left; I could freely move my jaw left, right and stretch it wide open.

Previously, I could only open my jaw to about 2-2.5cm wide. After service, I went home and tested my jaw, to see if I could eat without pain. Praise God! I was able to eat with no pain at all.

I even ate a hard apple easily which previously, would have led to unbearable pain. I really thank God for his amazing healing power my life and freeing me from a problem that I have battled with for a long time.
