Bringing Signs & Wonders to Labuan Island
It’s been an exciting week for all of us here in Hope Labuan. We had three healing services and altogether we had a total of 300 people attend our services which included 109 visitors. We saw people from all age levels from children, working adults and the elderly. Hope Labuan also saw ten people give their lives to Christ, with another ten recommitting themselves to Jesus.



I believe God has been challenging everyone’s faith and belief in the Lord for the impossible. God has been so good to us by allowing us to be able to see such miracles happening, not just for us, but for our visitors also. They can see for themselves how God is so awesome, and how he is such a powerful God, who can do great and mighty things.

God restored Christine (12 years old) vision.

I like to watch TV. Just recently my mum realised that I had to sit very close to the TV for me to see it clearly. After a thorough check up by the doctor, he suggested to me to go through an operation to repair my eyesight since it was too late to use spectacles to improve my eyesight.

I was very scared and when I heard Peter Truong was coming to Labuan, I requested to my Children Church’s teacher to bring me along to receive prayer. Before prayer, I couldn’t even read the words on the LCD screen, which was only two metres away. After Peter and everyone prayed for me, including all my children church’s friends, my eyesight was restored! I can now see things more clearly! Peter checked with me about the improvement. Praise God! I can even read the words on the LCD screen, even when I’m five metres away! Hallelujah!


God restored James knee pain.



James, who is new to Hope of God Labuan, heard about the Healing Service through the flyers that was distributed through the newspapers. At the service, he responded with faith to the first round of prayer for those suffering from joint pain. He specifically requested to be prayed for his knee as he was unable to lift up his right leg.

After prayer, James felt better and commented that there was a 30% improvement in his knee. With great faith the church laid hands on James’s knee and prayed again. Praise the Lord! James is completely healed and he can now lift his right leg up and move freely without any pain at all! He was asked to walk around the church to confirm the miraculous work God has done. Again, he praised the Lord!

Later during the altar call, James and his wife responded for salvation to accept our Lord Jesus Christ into their life! Heaven rejoices!


God restored Madam Chua wrist pain

Three to four months ago, I started to feel pain on my wrist. It made me feel very uncomfortable, but I was reluctant to see a doctor, as I knew that God would heal me according to his timing.

Last week, I came across the flyers from Hope of God Labuan promoting the healing service. I knew that God was going to do great things. The moment I arrived in the church, I could really feel the Holy Spirit fill me, and I start praising God and tears started to flow down my cheeks. When the people prayed for me, in my heart, I just prayed for one thing: God's forgiveness. As long as I was emotionally healed, I was sure that my physical body would be healed too! Praise God that after being prayed for, my wrist pain was gone! It's so amazing! I thank God for it!


God healed Fiona's mother leg pain

Fiona, a regular visitor of Hope of God Labuan, was looking forward to the healing service. She had great faith and believed God would heal her ailing mother and grandmother who suffered from leg pain, arm joint pain and vision problems.

Her desire to see God's healing led her to bring her mother and grandmother from Betong (a township near to Kuching, three hour drive from Labuan) to Labuan to attend this healing service. Fiona and her mother were suffering from migraine and leg pain respectively before they came to the healing service on Thursday (October 2, 2008). After they were prayed for, Fiona's mother experienced great relief from the migraine she suffered.

She proclaimed "Tuhan itu baik!" (God is good). Praise the Lord! God's healing did not just stop there. Fiona's mother who suffered from leg pain for the past year (especially in the morning) called Fiona on Saturday (October 3, 2008) after she went back to Betong, and informed that God has healed her completely. She hadn’t felt any pain in her legs for the past two days! Praise the Lord!


God restored Fiona's grandmother vision

Melia’s had weak and blurry vision for the past ten years before she came to Hope of God Labuan’s healing service on Thursday (October 2, 2008). She could not see the lyrics on the wall clearly during the service.

Melia also had joint pain in her arms and body; she has been unable to lift up her arm for the past ten years. However she responded in faith and asked for healing. Praise the Lord! After being prayed for, she was able to see more clearly the wording on the wall. Although Melia did not ask to be prayed for her joint pain on her arms and body, God was amazing enough to heal her from it as well. Hallelujah! She can now lift her arms up high and move around freely. Melia described the completeness of her healing as a nine (from a scale of one to ten) and said “Aku gembira” (“I am happy”).
