HOPE PENANG, MALAYSIA VIDEO

Hi, I am Zechariah and this is my wife Phoebe. Both of us are currently leading Hope Penang church. That’s our church there. This whole week, we’ve been having a really wonderful time with two sessions of Healing Services. One service was during Friday night, and one on Sunday morning. We really saw the awesomeness of God and the miraculous power of God throughout this whole week.

For example we had one case where the daughter of one of the couples was diagnosed with dengue fever. Miraculously, in less than a week, she was healed completely. Normally for dengue fever, it takes about two weeks for you to be healed. But amazingly, she was healed within a week. We’ve got some more as well.

We have seen a person come in a wheelchair. After prayer, he could get up and walk without pain on his feet. We’ve seen people come with cancer and they felt that God’s presence touched them when we started to pray for them.

We also had a few uncles and aunties who had been suffering from shoulder pain. Previously they were not able to lift up their hands. But after prayer, miraculously, they were able to lift up their hands completely. We really praise God for that. I would say that God was really amazing. Many people were healed throughout this healing service. Really, God is awesome!
We’ve seen in total 11 salvations within just these two services. We really want to thank God for such a wonderful blessing that we could experience as a church together.

We just really want to give the glory to God for what He has done in our midst. Never before have we seen so many salvations in a week before, and it actually happened in Hope Penang. So we believe that it can happen in your centre too!

Another amazing thing was that throughout the week, we went to different locations to distribute flyers for this healing service. We went to the hospitals; we went to the shopping complex, the recreational center and so on. And amazingly, people from each of the location where we distributed the flyers came! And that was really amazing for us.

Throughout these two services, we had over 60 visitors joining us for the first time in Hope Penang. We want to really praise God for what He has done in our centre here. We want to channel back all glory to God.

Healing Testimonies



Mr. Leong, 45 years old

I have suffered from poliomyelitis since childhood. As a result, my legs were deformed and I could never walk without the aid of crutches/ wheelchair. Even on crutches, I experienced regular pain on both my knees. During the healing service, I asked and believed Jesus for his healing.

When the brothers and sisters laid hands and prayed for me, I felt my wheelchair having vibrations or spinning-sensations. I asked if anyone pushed or moved my wheelchair. To their surprise, none of them had touched the wheelchair!

Amazingly, the pain on both my knees was completely gone after the prayer. I testified of the healing and was asked to try walking. By faith, I lifted myself from my wheelchair and I managed to walk around church with the help of two brothers, and there were no pain! This is just awesome! All glory to God.


Pei San (daughter diagnosed with dengue fever)

My four-year-old daughter Chloe was diagnosed with dengue fever on Monday Feb 24. Her condition deteriorated during the first two days of her illness and my husband and I were very worried.

We asked the church for prayer. The whole church joined in prayer for Chloe’s speedy recovery. We praised God for such wonderful family of God. In less than 5 days since the diagnosis, her condition improved dramatically and she was discharged from the hospital! Thank you Lord!


Mr. Mak (Heng Fai’s Father), 65 years old

I have been experiencing constant pain in my left hip for more than 10 years. After hearing about the Healing Seminar from my daughter, I decided to attend the rally. Though it was an hour journey from Taiping to Penang, I was full of faith that Jesus would heal me.

After the church prayed for me, I felt the pain slowing decreasing and I was healed! God healed my hip pain. Praise Jesus!


Chua Peck Charn, 24 years old

When I joined my company’s trip to Gua Tempurung last year, I injured my backbone from a fall while trying to move to lower ground. My backbone was slightly cracked and I had to go for physiotherapy.


Every morning, I would feel a slight pain on my back, especially during rainy days. However, after the first round of prayer, I can feel the pain on my backbone slowly decreasing. So the brothers and sisters kept praying for me and I do not feel the strain on my backbone anymore after the second prayer. I want to give thanks to the Lord for healing me.


Auntie Hong, 60 years old

I have been experiencing pain in my right thigh for years. I could never walk fast and suffered countless sleepless nights due to the agonising pain. I took the step of faith to come meet Jesus for His healing. God honoured my simple faith indeed! After the church laid hands on me during the healing service on Sunday, I felt the pain was 90% GONE! God is awesome! I felt joy beaming in my heart and face, and I can walk VERY fast now with the aid of a cane, with minimal pain!


See Ling (Grandma Madame Ho)

My grandmother had always felt pain whenever she lifted up her right hand. She came to join the rally on Friday night and asked for healing prayer. After prayer, the pain was gone and she was able to lift up her right hand easily. She also had been troubled by constipation and watery-eyes. My grandma came again on Sunday healing rally; she testified in church that both these problems were gone after prayer.

On Sunday also, by her simple faith, my grandmother received another healing from God for her legs. She can walk with more strength after being prayed for. She was very happy and thanked Jesus for all the healing. The best news of the healing weekend was my grandma accepted Christ on Friday night! Praise God!


Auntie Tan, 70 years old

Early this year, I found a red swollen lump on my left breast. I was instantly worried and went for a check up. It was shocking news when I was told I needed to have surgery to remove the lump. I stayed in the hospital for three weeks before I was discharged and they performed a biopsy. I had 3rd stage breast cancer and had to go through six doses of chemotherapy. I am very sad because I did take good care of my health during my younger days and it’s not fair.

Last Sunday, my granddaughter, Kai Ning who is a doctor serving at Hope Sg. Petani called me to ask me quickly to go for Healing Service. I hurried to church to pray for healing. When I entered the church and prayed for healing mercy, I was very touched and instantly there was peace in my heart. I was very fearful of the pain and chemotherapy. The leaders asked me and explained the gospel to me and invited me to accept Jesus into my life. Without hesitation, I said yes.

When I made the decision to accept Jesus into my life, I felt peace in my heart so much and I was not so fearful anymore. The following Wednesday, I had to go for another scan to determine if the cancerous cells had spread and moved, so the doctor can prescribed an accurate dosage of drugs for the chemotherapy. On Tuesday night, two sisters visited me and reassured me that I am saved in Christ. I asked them to teach me to pray to Jesus as I could not read so well.

They encouraged me to pray in the name of Jesus when I am fearful and to pray again tomorrow for the Lord to take away the fear and give me strength on the way to the scan. And we really prayed for a good result and miracle. Yesterday, I received good news indeed, the cells had not moved or spread. Praise the Lord! I still have to undergo chemo but I believe the strength of the Lord will help me get through this. I will attend the first care group gathering this coming Thursday.
