Hi everyone, Pastor Mark from Hope Christian Church Melbourne City Centre and we are here standing right in front of our venue. As you can see, this is the Kensington Community Centre. It actually has a swimming pool, a basketball stadium and various facilities including this hall just here where we have our Sunday Service.

The "Power of God" campaign

Yesterday, we did some evangelism on the street over here and in various parts of Kensington. It was great today because we saw quite a few new faces. There appeared to be some locals who had come in from the neighbourhood and we had an excellent time. I believe we ended up seeing five salvations today and there were at least 170+people that attended, which is an excellent number.



So overall, we are incredibly encouraged to see the power of God at work, and I just want to highlight one thing that I think made this particular rally really powerful, and that was in part due to our campaign that we have been doing called the ‘Power of God’ campaign.

So in the last three weeks, we have been sowing an expectation for God’s power and praise the Lord, it really culminated today, where we really saw God at work. Quite a few people were healed: there were all kinds of healing that occurred. Everything from migraines, headaches, back pains, and some people had improved vision as well. There was even a man with Parkinson’s disease who claimed that his condition improved significantly.




So overall, we are just so encouraged to see God at work. And it has been a blessing to have Peter come and visit us again. So we look forward to next year already. God bless you, amen.

HEALING TESTIMONY

My name is Yan Yang and I am from Hope Melbourne City Centre. I was diagnosed with glaucoma in 2002. The medical reports I have attached show that I have lost vision in both my eyes. The right eye is the worst, with 25% vision loss. The doctors told me that glaucoma is usually caused by high eye pressure which damages the eye nerves. Since I had normal eye pressure, it meant the cause of my glaucoma was unknown. As a result, there was no possible treatment to control it. I have taken the same test every year to make sure it does not worsen. Thank God that the results have remained the same.

In the past, I did pray and also asked other people, even Peter, to pray for my eyes. However, nothing happened. This time round, I had a strong sense that God was going to heal my eyes. This came a few weeks after I heard Peter would be coming to Melbourne to conduct another healing meeting in May this year. I actually felt God would not only heal my glaucoma, but also my short-sightedness. I started to fast and pray constantly to prepare myself before Peter came. I kept having the strong feeling that God would heal me this time so I booked a visual field test on June 3, 2009.

Peter joined our life group on Thursday and prayed for me along with everyone else. However, nothing seemed to happen. Peter and the church prayed for me again at the Healing Service on the following Sunday, but still, I couldn’t sense any obvious improvement. I prayed almost every day. I did the test on June 3rd and it showed a significant improvement on both eyes. Thank God! The doctor could not explain why. He suggested that the results could mean that my condition was not glaucoma and the loss of vision was probably caused by genetic problems. Meanwhile, I knew that my partial healing came from God.


Olivia Ho had a stiff neck for the last few days; she couldn’t move her hands freely. After Peter and others prayed for her, she now can freely move her arms and there is no stiffness in her neck. Olivia scored her healing 8 out of 10. Praise God!

Through this healing experience, she saw what God can do and it strengthened her relationship with God.







Five years ago, something fell on As neck, seriously injuring it and leaving him feeling soreness and pain.

Ash was unable to bend his head freely. He has seen a doctor and physiotherapist for his neck. However, his injury did not improve. After Peter and others laid their hands on him, Ash felt his neck loosen up and there was no pain. He can now bend his head freely. He experienced that God is good and that God can really heal our sicknesses and is living in us today.



Wes was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease a year and a half ago. The disease causes his hands to shake most of the time, and sometimes the nerve is shaking inside his hands.

This morning, when he came to church, his hands were shaking badly. After we prayed for him, Wes felt his nerves calming down and there was no more shaking. Thank God!

He was born into a Christian family, but he was distanced away from God. Through this healing experience, his faith with God has been strengthened.


Jimmy Chong had been suffering from a migraine for the past three, four days.

When we laid hands on him, he felt the migraine disappear after two or three seconds. His faith with God has been strengthened and Jimmy now believes God is with him.









Joy Kwak has always felt pain in her body, sometimes the pain was everywhere. In particular, Joy suffered from a lot of back pain.

It would leave her feeling heaviness in her whole body. After we continuously prayed for her, Joy felt her whole body lighten. Also, she experienced emotional healing as well. Joy had been concerned about her family’s financial situation which troubled her heart. When she went up to ask for prayer, she received the peace in her heart and learned not to worry so much.



Susan has suffered back pain for a very long time. Whenever she lays in bed at night after study or when she works, she feels pain in her back. We prayed for her; Susan felt the pain from her back was gone and she could freely move her back.
