Greetings from Calvary Family Church Kuching from the Land of the Hornbill in Sarawak, Malaysia! Our church believes in establishing a biblical, family-based community to reach non-believers and their families and to mentor them to magnify God’s glory.

On October 4, 2009, we invited Peter Truong to preach at our combined Sunday Service which included the English, Mandarin and Malay-speaking congregations. A total of 255 people attended this meeting.




We praise God for the four people who received the Lord and another four rededicating their lives to the Lord. There were also testimonies of healings and spiritual renewal.

HEALING TESTIMONIES:

Testimony by Phua Siew Hia

I had been suffering from a hyper-thyroid problem for about 10 years and there was a swelling of the thyroid gland on both sides of my throat, like a lump.

Whenever I drink water, I can feel the muscles in my throat cramp up and it was difficult for me to swallow. Last week, when Peter Truong invited those who wanted healing to go to the altar for prayer, I went forward.

As Peter prayed for me, I felt a heat sensation on my throat. I put my hand on my throat and felt a difference; the swelling was gone. Two of my younger sisters confirmed that the swelling has gone and my throat now looks normal. When I drink water now, there is no more discomfort or cramp. I would like to thank God for healing me and thank Peter Truong and the church leaders for their prayers. Praise God! God bless you all.

I was deaf in my right ear for more than ten years. I used to suffer from an ear infection causing pus to come out from my ear.

I discovered I could not hear from my right ear. I went to see a doctor but he could not help me. After Peter prayed for me on Sunday, I could hear clearly and even better than before.

I am a new convert who has been struggling with a serious drinking problem. After I went out for prayer for healing on Sunday, I stopped drinking.

I also feel strengthened by the Lord and renewal in my spiritual life. It is like I am a brand new person in Christ. Praise God!
