The vision of Grace Assembly Church


I have been so privileged to be connected with Alex Chan who is the personal secretary of Pastor Henry K Pillai, the founder of Grace Assembly Church. Alex introduced me to Pastor Henry in his office in Petaling Jaya last year. The Lord has done tremendous things through Pastor Henry and Grace Assembly over the years. I am inspired by their mission statement:

“Grace Assembly, as an Apostolic Prophetic Church, is committed to fulfilling the Great Commission by mobilising our resources to reach our communities, our nation, and the world.”

Grace Assembly has a strong emphasis on church planting and serving the community. Since 1997, Grace Assembly has grown to include 1,500 churches worldwide. They have community services such as providing meals for the poor, offering shelter for the elderly and single mothers, counselling and medical services, home schooling and more. The church has received much appreciation and recognition from both the public and government for their generous contribution to the society.

Healing Ministries in Grace Assembly Churches

In recent times, I have conducted healing meetings in various Grace Assembly churches in Kuala Lumpur. I have ministered in Grace Klang (English and Mandarin Services), Grace KL (Christmas service), Grace Shah Alam (Tamil and English services) and Grace USJ.

In April 2010, Pastor Erickson Kam from Grace Assembly, Klang (Mandarin Service) invited me to conduct a healing service on Saturday night. There were over 500 people attending the healing service. The service was conducted in Mandarin. I can sense that the church has a strong atmosphere of love and faith.

The worship team ushered in the presence of God with high praise and worship. A lady from the church gave a healing testimony that inspired everyone. She was diagnosed with a cancer growth on her neck. After prayer, she went back to the doctor for a CT scan and discovered that the lump has disappeared. She gave praise to God for the healing and encouraged everyone to trust in God for miracles.



Pastor Erickson was my interpreter during the preaching. The Spirit of God touched many people and they came forward to receive Christ. Indeed, the greatest miracle is when a person gives their life to Jesus. Pastor Erickson and I prayed for many people for blessing in their businesses and health. God healed a number of people from various pains in their bodies. People with pain in their knees and feet were healed after prayer. A lady who was under the influence of the evil spirits was set free.

A Growing Mandarin Service

God has used Pastor Erickson and his leadership team to grow the Mandarin service over the years. The church started with 30 members ten year ago and now it has grown to over 500 people. Pastor Erickson is a humble man; he totally relies on God to grow the church. Many members have been blessed and transformed by Christ through his ministry. I thank God for knowing such a godly and sacrificial man like Pastor Erickson.
