Pastor PK was the special guest speaker on the day. Thank God for bringing many friends and visitors to witness baby dedication and church anniversary on Sunday. [PS PK PREACHING AT CHURCH ANNIVERSARY] Pioneering Hope Leeds, UK Hope Leeds began 6 years ago with three Filipino nurses from Hope Singapore (Lorisa Gantala, Marilyn and Gemma). Lorisa Gantala travelled to Hope London every fortnight to attend the Sunday service and received training from Pastor PK. The first care group at Leeds started in November 2000 and the first church service followed soon after in August 2001. Currently Roger and Lorisa are leading the church with around 30 people and have been reaching out to Filipinos working in Leeds. Healing Service This week Hope Leeds had a Healing Service with Brother Peter Truong. There were 32 people at the meeting and many people were touched by the Holy Spirit. Thank God for 5 people who received the baptism of the Holy Spirit and another person who accepted Christ from Buddhist background. Healing testimonies God healed Mildred of back pain… Tonight, I received healing from back pain which had bothered me for 3 years. Thank God, I can now rest easy without worrying about my back. I felt that the power of God came to me during prayer. [JUNE AND MARILYN] God healed June of migraine…. When everybody was praying for my migraine, stomach and back pain, I could feel a warm sensation flowing from my head to my back. I had the pain for the past year and now I feel better and comfortable. I also got baptised with the Holy Spirit and can now speak in the new language. Marilyn got filled with Holy Spirit… I just fell to the ground when I was filled with the Holy Spirit. I felt that I was lifted up by God and He healed my back pain. God healed Loida from her headache… When the church prayed for me, I could feel the Holy Spirit touching me. I felt joy and no longer experienced anymore pain in my head and body. I felt such a sense of release during the time of prayer and I want to keep coming back to God and the church.
