Joining Hope VISION 
Dr Ondrej joined the Hope family in 2000 after he met Pastor Marcus Rose in Berlin, Germany, whilst he was an exchange student studying medicine. Pastor Marcus shared the Hope Vision and later on discipled Dr Ondrej in Hope Berlin. After one year, Dr Ondrej returned to the Czech Republic and pioneered a care group at Charles University medical school in Hradec Kralove (2 hours away from Prague). The first care group consisted of medical students and a dentistry student. Jana, who was the sole dentistry student, visited the care group and eventually became a Christian. She was steadfastly committed to the Hope vision and eventually became a care group leader in Hradec Kralove for 2 years.
Reaching young generation in Prague
After a short time in Hradec, Ondrej moved to Prague to pioneer a church. He worked in the hospital and evangelised to the students at the university. God brought in key students into the church during its early days and are now part of the leadership team. Dr Ondrej and Jana got married in Prague and they now serve God together along with their son Jonas.
Hope Prague has adopted many creative ways to share the love of Christ to the students in a predominately atheist country. The church has organised weekend camps to form and build relationships with one another and also to non-believers. The church has also organised public music concerts and break dance performances in the streets. Currently, they have break dance training classes for youth which is followed by care group.
Student Orientation Week in University 
This week was the first week of student orientation in Prague. Students from Hope Prague and Peter Truong went to the university and visited student dormitories to form new contacts and relationships with new students and invite them to a special outreach on Sunday called the X-Facts.
A student from Hope Prague was able to speak freely in a new language when Pavel and Peter prayed for him in the park at the student dormitory. The student group held games night at the dormitory to build friendship with new students.
Healing Workshop & Ministry 
On Friday night and Sunday afternoon, Peter Truong taught about Healing and praying for members. The church learned about “Divine Healing” in the bible and prayed for each other for healing. There was also a time of giving words of prophecy by Peter and confirmed through visions of Pavel Baudisch which brought much encouragement to the group. Two Christian students from the dormitory joined the meeting because they heard the praise and worship session. They also attended the seminar on Sunday.
Special Sunday: X-Facts Seminar
The church organised a special seminar on Sunday called X-Facts. The objective of this seminar was to invite non-believers to church and to learn about “Bible Prophecy”, “Noah’s Ark”, “intelligent design” and “Divine Healing”.
The speakers were Dr Ondrej, Dr Martin and Peter Truong. The seminar went for about 60 minutes with questions and answer sessions at the end. Thank God for 10 first-time visitors and a total of 34 people at the seminar. The church invited the visitors to attend care group meeting during the week to discuss more about the seminar topics. Many people stay back for a time of fellowship and light refreshments after the seminar.
