Phuket is a very popular place for tourists with many beautiful beaches and islands. People from around the world visit Phuket for holidays all year round. Thus, Phuket is a great place to share the love of Christ and impact the nations.
[HOPE PHUKET - PASTOR MATTHEW & SANDRA]
Pastor Matthew and Pastor Sandra Thongjerm oversee a number of churches in Phuket, Thailand. They have a deep passion to disciple leaders to pioneer new churches in Phuket and the surrounding region. Pastor Sandra completed her studies at the bible seminary in Hope Bangkok and married Pastor Matthew in April 1993. They moved to Phuket in 1996 to help pioneer the church. The Lord has blessed their commitment and dedication in Phuket. They have pioneered Hope Phuket, City Centre, Hope Phuket, Jao Fa Centre, Hope Phuket, Thalung Centre, Hope Phuket, Patong Centre and Hope Klok-Kloy in Phang Nga province.
Building an international church 
Hope Phuket has members and visitors from many countries such as Thailand, Indonesia, Australia, the Philippines, America, Nepal, Burma, Nigeria, Sweden, Great Britain, Japan and South Africa. Currently, there are 30-35 international members in Hope Phuket International churches. Members in the church were encouraged by Pastor Matthew and Pastor Sandra preaching in English; so that the church can reach to a broader range of people. On April 17th, 2005, Pastor Sandra preached her first sermon in English and there were 11 foreigners and 32 Thai people attending. A businesswoman from South Africa cried because she saw the Holy Spirit fall upon Pastor Sandra during the preaching. Then she presented an English bible to Pastor Sandra as a gift. The Lord spoken to Pastor Sandra previously in Psalms 2:8 that He would give the nations as her inheritance.
HEALING SERVICES IN PHUKET
Hope Phuket International church had three Healing Services with Peter Truong at three different venues: Hope Phuket, City Centre; Hope Phuket, Chalong Centre; and Hope Puket, Patong Centre. In the morning at Hope Phuket City Centre, there were 100 people at the church. After praise and worship, Kanlaya shared her testimony about how God healed her from blindness at Monday night’s Healing Workshop. A lady from the church also testified how God healed her of cancer 7 years ago in Hope Bangkok. Then Peter Truong preached a message entitled “Jesus Heals Today”. Thank God for 12 people who came forward to receive Christ as Lord and Saviour during the altar call. Many people also came to the altar to receive prayer for physical and emotional healing.
God lengthened Sujittra’s right leg… Sujittra experienced pain in the left hip since her right leg was shorter than her left leg. The whole church was praying for Sujittra at Healing Service for her right leg to be strengthened. Pastor Cindy was holding Sujittra’s legs during prayer and saw the right leg lengthen. Pastor Sandra from Hope Phuket felt the power of God touching Sujittra during prayer. Then, Sujittra testified in front of the whole church that she felt God lengthened her right leg.
Healing Workshop IN PHUKET 
On Monday night, the church had a Healing Workshop. There were around 25 people attending this training session including the Filipino mission team from Hope Bangkok IF. The Filipino mission team was leading worship which ushered in the presence of God into the meeting. After the teaching, Peter Truong had a word of knowledge for healing people with eyesight problems. Three people received healing for their eyesight problems after prayer (Read testimony).
God heal Kanlaya of blindness (Middle)
Kanlaya was totally blind in the left eye due to an eye injury she suffered 15 years ago. The doctor told her that the left eye has been damaged and there was no medical treatment possible. The church prayed for Kanlaya during the Healing Workshop. Kanlaya felt her left eye become hot during prayer. After the first prayer, Kanlaya was able to see light from her left eye. Then, the church prayed for Kanlaya again for complete healing. Afterwards, Kanlaya testified that she could see colours and count her fingers using her left eye. Kanlaya’s husband was by her side to confirm God’s miraculous healing. Everyone in the church was rejoicing with Kanlaya.
God heal Aoraporn’s eyes of dryness
Aoraporn suffered discomfort due to a lack of moisture in her eyes. Aoraporn has some difficulty blinking when she is riding a motorbike or sitting in front of an air conditioner due to the loss of moisture in the eyes from evaporation. After prayer, Aoraporn was able to freely open and close her eyes without feeling any discomfort. She stood near the air conditioning and she had no problem being able to blink and felt the difference right away. All glory to God.
God healed Lisa’s vision impairment (above)
Four years ago, Lisa suffered a right eye injury while she was working in a laboratory; something had exploded into her right eye. Since that time, Lisa’s vision had been impaired where she saw stationary objects moving up and down. During the Healing Workshop, Lisa was playing the guitar and worshipping God, when she got instantly healed without asking for healing. God is awesome and powerful in performing signs and wonders.
