HISTORY OF HOPE CHIANG MAI

Pastor Chuchart Chaisombat completed his bachelor’s degree at Ramkamheng University and then completed his Master’s degree in economics at Kasetasat University. He was a businessman before deciding to serve God full-time at Hope of Bangkok church. Pastor Chuchart then moved on to pastor the Hope of Chiang Mai Church. He and his wife, Dr. Siriporn Chaisombat, set a good example to the members by taking care of them, encouraging them, and teaching them to follow biblical principles. Pastor Chuchart has the pastoral gift and the gift of faith; this is seen by his desire to start new ministries and plant churches so that the members and all people will be blessed by God.
MINISTRIES IN HOPE CHIANG MAI 
Hope Chiang Mai Church is a community of believers who desire to live by biblical principles. There are 40 full-time workers devoted to serving the Lord and church members. They are supported by all the members in the church who have the same vision: to bring God’s love to others. There are different groups of people in the church such as children, university and college students, government officers, business owners, families, members of hill tribes, and the elderly.
All the members love and are committed to each other, and live by God’s principles. The church demonstrates God’s love by caring for all kind of people physically, mentally, and spiritually. There are many teaching programs to disciple every member with camps, seminars and Sunday clubs.
WONDERFUL HEALINGS WEEKEND 
Hope Chiang Mai held Healing Workshops over two days: Friday and Saturday. Over 200 people attended the Healing Workshop, with many receiving physical and emotional healing. At the Healing Service on Sunday night, about 320 people came and 15 people accepted Christ. God healed many people including two people whose legs were lengthened. (Read testimonies below)

God lengthened Suranya’s leg
I’m so grateful to God for healing my leg. I had an operation over 10 years ago, because my legs were not the same length. After the operation, I walked with a limp. I prayed a lot for my leg, and many people have encouraged me to believe that God would heal me. Last Sunday, I thank God for doing a miracle. When I was prayed for, my legs became the same length, and I can now walk almost normally. I see that God answered my desire for healing after ten years of prayer. I want to thank God and encourage everyone that if we have faith, we can see many miracles that God will do through our lives.
God healed Fern (10 years old) hearing impairment
My young daughter, Fern, could not hear well. She was told by the doctor that she had infected eardrums, and needed an operation. Afterwards, her hearing improved slightly, but she heard a constant sound in her ears, causing her to only have 50% hearing. When Ferm came to church and received prayer for healing, her hearing improved dramatically: from 50% to 90%. Also the constant sound in her ears lessened in intensity. This is what Fern said of her experience: “At first, I couldn’t hear very much. When the leaders prayed for me, I could hear more clearly. God healed Piyanutch from a blind spot in the eye
Thank God for the miracle that happened on Friday, November 30th. A while ago, I had inflammation in my eye, and I was treated for this at the end of 2006. I was sensitive to light. I was treated with steroids, in eye drop and pill form. However, the steroids caused a blind spot to develop in my eye. This blind spot in my eye significantly interfered with my vision. At the Healing Meeting, I received prayer, and afterwards, I began to see more clearly. Now there is no blind spot – Praise God!

I used to have blurry vision, like I was seeing through smoke, and I couldn’t see clearly. I went to the doctor, who said that my symptoms were not severe enough to receive treatment. I was worried that I would lose my vision, and wouldn’t be able to read the Bible. Last Friday, God healed me. I received prayer for my eye, and I’m so happy that I can see more clearly: I can see everything now! I’m so amazed and I thank God who loves me and cares for me so much.
God healed Wanitcha’s back pain
I want to thank God for healing me. When I was 8 years old, I had an x-ray because I was complaining of back pain. The doctor said I had a slipped disk in my spine, so I could not lift anything heavy, and if I lifted something I would have pain for 2 or 3 days. When I was prayed for, I felt a warm sensation in the injured area, and after a moment I felt the heaviness in my back go away. When I twisted and bent to check my back, the pain was completely gone! So I want to thank God.
God healed Boonjer of hearing impairment
I would like to thank God for healing my right ear. Twenty-one years ago, I suffered an accident which affected my hearing. Since then, I could not hear from my right ear. When I heard that there was going to be a healing service, I came with a heart trusting in God to heal me. After receiving prayer, I felt God touched my ear. I was excited because I believed that I could hear from my right ear again. I tested it by talking on the phone on my right hand side and thank God, I could hear once again.
God lengthened Dr. Duangkamol’s leg
My legs were unequal in size and length due to a mild case of poliomyelitis (polio). The right leg is a little shorter, smaller and weaker than the left. On the night of healing service, I prayed to God and asked Him to heal my leg. Afterwards, I felt that my right leg had lengthened and I could walk better, even though I had not received 100% healing. My sister confirmed that I started walking better after the prayer meeting. I now keep praying for my leg and to reach 100% healing. Thank God for all he has done.
