Pastor Moses and his wife Augusta are locals from Sarawak. Both of them came to further their studies at the local university in Peninsular Malaysia and help to start the Bahasa Malaysia congregation in 1998. Since 2003, God challenged them to enlarge their ministry to the English and Mandarin congregation as well.

Pastor Moses has been serving full time in the church since 2000 while his wife works in a legal firm. The couple have two children – Abigail (seven years old) and Yosua (five years old). Apart from looking after Hope KLCC, they also oversee another four daughter churches.

HOPE KLCC, MALAYSIA

Hope KLCC is located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur’s city centre, near Malaysia famous building KLCC Twin Tower. This dynamic church is very unique because we can see people from different nationalities come and worship the Lord in the church.

Hope KLCC is a melting pot because the church has English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysian services. Today, Hope KLCC has a weekly attendance of more than 200 in the Sunday service and 250 in our care groups, whilst more than 30 children attend our PKC weekly. We have 35 care groups in the different areas of the Klang valley: Shah Alam, Puchong, PJ, Kelana Jaya, Gombak, Sg.Buluh, Chow Kit, Pandan Jaya, Sg. Besi, Kajang and Setapak.

We have care groups for the different age groups in our church (Family, Working Adults, and college and university students) to help our people to grow in the Lord, care for one another and reach out to their friends weekly.

On the International mission front, we are preparing teams to go to India and supporting Somata. Domestically, we are supporting our daughter churches in Kuantan, Kuala Terengganu, Kota Bahru and Senawang.

HEALING SERVICE

We are so blessed to have Brother Peter Truong with us for the past three days. Last Friday, we had a healing workshop where God healed some of the people. We had two healing services: one in the morning for English and Mandarin and we ended with Bahasa Malaysia congregation in the afternoon. God is really great.

HEALING STORIES

1) Hi, my name is Almien. For a long time, I have suffered pain in my leg from gun shot for 12 year...

My friend invited me here to the church and I come here and they prayed for me. I don’t know what happened, but all my body started feeling like warm, warm, warm and just like that, I feel that my leg is ok.

I had lived on painkillers daily and constantly; without the painkillers, I couldn’t walk. Now I feel like a new guy, I’m very comfortable. I have believed in Jesus Christ for a long time. I’ve always gone to church and I always ask God for anything and he’s never said no to me.

This is the first time when I didn’t ask for too much, despite my suffering for 12 years. And now I feel that I have nothing wrong: no problems with my leg- I can walk with no painkillers, no nothing. Thank you very much.

2) I know I have a curve in my backbone, so I’ve felt back pain for a while. However as I was praying with the pastor, my brother and sisters, and the leaders...

I feel a strong power pulling me up. I now feel that my backbone is straighter and has been strengthened. My leg, which previously had been uneven, became even. So as I walk now, I feel lighter and lesser pressure in my leg. So praise the Lord and thanks to all the brothers and sisters for their prayers.

3) I have blurry vision which affects my sight. However after they prayed for me, I can see better without my glasses.
