Serian Healing Rally Video

Hope Kuching is a multicultural church with various services to cater for different languages and age groups. There is the English service, Mandarin Service, Bahasa Malaysia service, Iban service and Student Service operating throughout the weekend. Pastor Denis is the senior pastor of Hope Kuching and he also oversees the churches in Sarawak, East Malaysia.

SERIAN HEALING RALLY

Pastor Kung Ching is leading the Hope Kuching Mandarin Church for Chinese speaking people. She has a vision to see a church planted in Serian, a small country town about an hour away from Kuching. The church organised a healing rally at Serian on the May 24, 2009. The church members went out to the community and distributed 1300 flyers for the healing rally. Many came because of the flyers.



Praise God! We had 30 church members joined the meeting. Most importantly, we had 26 visitors and 12 of them accepted Christ as their personal Lord and Saviour!



God blessed the Healing Rally outreach in Serian because of the fervent prayer of the leadership team and the church members. Please continue to pray for the work of God to be established in Serian in the near future.

“I had neck and shoulder pain for the past three years because of the heavy loads I need to carry. The medication prescribed by the doctor could alleviate the pain for a short period of time. The pain would return after I carried a heavy load. A few days ago, I could not even sleep because I was in great pain in my neck and shoulders. Tonight, after prayer, my right shoulder feels better and my neck pain has been 50% healed.”

“I have been suffering from left knee pain for the past year. I prayed every night before I went to bed but my knee was still in pain. After receiving prayer tonight, my knee pain improved by almost 80%. I believe it is the power of the prayer of the multitude in this hall.”

“I think Jesus came to Serian tonight. We do not know much about this Jesus. My wife’s right leg has been in pain after she twisted her leg two years ago. She went through different treatments but they did not work. At first, my wife did not want to come, but after I encouraged her, we came together. We accepted Christ just now. Moreover, after the prayer, my wife feels that she’s 50-60% better now. We are very thankful.”

“I feel a lot of pain in both my legs when I stand and walk, since October 2008. But after prayer tonight, both my legs were healed by 80%.”
